For over two decades, WeSeeHope has been engaged in life changing and life saving work in remote villages across sub-Saharan Africa. Using the power of community, entrepreneurship and leadership, at-risk young people are given an opportunity to live a bigger life than is otherwise possible. To create greater support for this work and to increase the reach of WSH, a group of men are climbing Kilimanjaro to spread awareness of the challenge being attacked and to raise funds to provide the resources needed to increase the work of WSH.
Kilimanjaro is almost 20,000 feet high and is the highest point on the continent of Africa. Much of the work of WSH occurs within a few hundred miles of Kili. Each climber has committed to raising at least $1.00 per foot of the climb. You can click through the climbers profiles to read a brief bio and their “why” for committing to this effort.
